Ariana Grande's life

She was born on June 26,1993.

She was named after Princess Oriana.

Early life:

She has a half brother Frankie Grande who is ten years older than her.

Her parents split up when Ariana was 8 or 9.

 Growing up,she performed in the Fort Laurderdale Children's Theatre and performed musicals.

At age 8, she sang karaoke on cruise ships and made her national television debut singing.

At age 14 went to Los Angeles to meet her managers and  to make her first R&B album but the managers refused because she's too young.

When Ariana joined the musical, she left her high school but she still kept enrolling. And her school sent her materials so she could study with tutors.

She also sang in the New York City Jazz Club Birdland.

Nickelodeon:

On 2009, she auditioned for the TV show Victorious as Cat Valentine.She had to dye her hair red because Dan Schneider didn't want all the cast members to be brunettes.

On October 4, 2010 she premiered after the 2011 kid's choice award with 6.2 million views on April 2, 2011.

Ariana sang covers of songs and posted it on YouTube, Monte Lipman was impressed by her vocal skills and signed her to a recording contract. She released her very first single Put Your Hearts Up in December.

Then she was on the show Sam and Cat on November 29, 2012 and the final episode was on July 17, 2014.

On December she sang a single version of Popular song and a duet with Mika.

2013:

On June, Ariana debut her album Yours Truly and released on August 30. On September 2013 it was no.1 on the US Billboard 200 with 138,000 copied in it's first week!

By April 2014, the album had sold more than 500,000 copies in the United States, making it Grande's first gold album.


 2014:
 January 2014, Grande had begun recording her second studio album, My Everything.It sold 169,000 copies in its first week and debuted atop the Billboard 200, becoming her second consecutive No. 1 album in the US.

 The same month, she earned the Favorite Breakout Artist award at the People's Choice Award. In March 2014, Grande sang at the White House concert, "Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House".
